Hello and welcome to my web site,
This website serves the purpose of sharing stories, photos, a few of my travels as well as climbing trips that I’ve been lucky to be a part of. I was leader and guide to a few international trips, while other trips were climbing explorations with good friends or just exploring parts of our small world. It is becoming harder and harder to get away form city life and experience nature. However, in doing so I’ve had the opportunity of new experiences and a chance to further my quest to see the world. Though topping out on a remote summit with an incredible view is always the favorite.
My climbing began 20 years ago in Southern California while I was in Boy Scouts. I started with just a few trips a year. Those few trips a year soon became a few trips a week. During summer break from a junior college in Southern California I moved to Yosemite National Park in California. Climbing quickly became my way of life. I spent many years climbing in North American both working in Yosemite and traveling with friends in pursuit of other climbing goals. In 2001 I started guiding in Alaska and around the world. I now work for a few different companies guiding trips of all levels, all around the world.
As you know, not all guide companies are the same. Some offer more of a private experience on technical peaks with guides that have local knowledge. Other companies do not offer as much, but are happy to take your money regardless making promises they can’t keep.
